The Appearance section allows you to change the colors and the font styles of eXPerience and the hand held device. |

The section on the left is for eXPerience settings. The first drop down allows you to specify the Color scheme group. You can select "Win XP" or "Win XP Custom". The "Win XP" group contains pre-defined color schemes, while the "Win XP Custom" group allows you to create your own color schemes. |

With "Win XP" selected in the first drop down, expand the second drop down to select one of the pre-defined colors. |

Click the "Edit Fonts" button to display the edit fonts dialog. |

The first drop down has 2 options, "Default" and "Custom". The "Default" setting restores eXPerience original styles. While "Custom" allows you to enter your own font styles. |

Many items share the same font setting. The 2nd drop down shows the different font groups. Select the one you want to modify and then adjust the font setting on the bottom of the screen. |

To create your own custom color scheme, select "Win XP Custom" from the Properties - Appearance main screen. If this is the first custom scheme a prompt will display. Select "Yes". |

The Create scheme dialog appears. Enter a name for the scheme. Also select from the list of current themes to base the new theme on. You also have the option to base your new theme on an empty theme (all colors are black). |
